Research and Development

Research and innovation are foundational to our success.  Furst-McNess invests heavily in extensive research to not only support and develop innovative technologies, but to advance fundamental concepts of nutrition.  Our commitment to research is proven through our investment in our state-of-the-art research and trial facility, which is set up to conduct research with university-level precision on a commercial scale. With 8 to 10 replicate pens per treatment and 30 pigs per pen, our results can be replicated and thoroughly tested for efficacy and safety. In addition, we conduct trials at several locations in partnership with research-oriented producers and contract research facilities.

    SELECT RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS

Publishing trials in peer-reviewed journals means that data and trial designs are reviewed by other scientists in the field for consistency and accuracy.  We take great pride in publishing some of our research wherever possible to support and demonstrate our technology-based products, and to share that fundamental nutritional knowledge with the industry.  Several abstracts and publications have been produced from our research and are available upon request at research@mcness.com.
